PUERTO MALDONADO All programs include reception in Puerto Maldonado’s Airport, ship off through God’s Mother River to “Cusco Amazonico Pueblo Hotel” (CAPH), lodging in a two-beds room with a private bath, Complete meals ( drinks are not included), Continental breakfast + 2 daily meals. A suitable lunch-box will be provided instead regular meals, when is recommended.
1st Day: Welcome and Transfer from the Airport to Puerto Maldonado’s Main Square. Get ready to sail through God’s Mother River. ISLA MONKEY: Arrival in Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the terminal, where we will ship off and enjoy a memorable voyage through God’s Mother River. During the voyage, you will be able to observe caimans, turtles, herons and other animals. Once in the lodge, we will taste an exquisite typical drink of welcome and will settle in our bungalows. Later, lunch will be served. We will visit ISLAND MONKEY with an specialized guide. Located at just 5 minutes from the lodge, in the middle of God's Mother river, Monkey Island shelters different species of monkeys: from the boisterous maquisapas, the happy achuñis and the imposing friars up to the small and happy leoncitos. During the voyage, we will appreciate beautiful sceneries full of exuberant fauna and flora, and also a wonderful and solemn sunset, all in the middle of the forest.
2nd Day: COCHA PERDIDA: After Breakfast, we will initiate an adventure through the virgin forest, with a local guide; we will explore and walk into the forest towards Cocha Perdida, which is an ecosystem that refuges and feeds an immense variety of animals like otters, caimans, turtles, sachavacas, multicolored plumages birds, the majestic jaguar and fish. With immense morasses and a variety of aguajales, this is a unique zone owned by the Amazonic Reservation, and it is still intact. After that, we will arrive to the extraordinary AMAZON LOOKOUT, built on top of a colossal tree, the “SHIHUAHUACO”, where we will be able to appreciate the magic forest. Then we will sail pleasantly in canoe around the lake. Return to the lodge. Lunch. In the evening we will be sailing in canoe through the river, and visit a local family. Return and dinner.

3rd Day: GAMITANA/BRIOLO RIVER: Breakfast. At stated hour, we will initiate another excursion through the magic forest, in which we will sail through God’s Mother river and continue hiking towards GAMINATA/BRIOLO river. This river is originated in the entrails of the virgin forest, its impressive twine creates extensive navigable channels, letting us return in canoes. On the way back, we will appreciate closer different animals like turtles, caimans, butterflies and a large variety of bugs and insects.
4th Day: Lodge Arrival. Dinner. Lodging.
